Landscape Design, Sod & Masonry

Hines & Zaffarese completely revamped this home with landscape design, a new sod lawn and a variety of masonry work

This home received a full suite of Hines & Zaffarese services including landscape design, masonry and a new sod lawn.

Hines & Zaffarese met with the owners and discussed their needs and desires for a completely new "front-end" to their home. After a careful Needs Analysis, Hines & Zaffarese devised a distinct plan to accomplish exactly what they wanted in a concise time frame.

In fact, one of the qualities that sets Hines & Zaffarese apart from other landscape designers is that when we start a project, we finish that project. We don't begin a project and then disappear for weeks leaving an unsightly mess for you to live in. You can be assured that once we begin refurbishing your home, we will work to get it finished so you can start enjoying it in short order.

This endeavor turned out to be an immense success for the homeowners. Hines & Zaffarese not only met their budget, but exceeded their expectations.

 

Masonry

Hines & Zaffarese demonstrated their talented masonry with this spectacular driveway

This homeowner had inherited a stone driveway from the previous owners, which they felt was a real eyesore. The artisans at Hines & Zaffarese, created a beautiful, curved driveway that not only expanded the area for their vehicles, but also connected the front of the house to the back with a new pathway.

The masonry work also expanded up to the front door with a completely reconstructed entrance way that included renovating the iron gate. Hines & Zaffarese also overhauled the front curb with brand new cobblestones, which contributed to the seamless finish.

The homeowner couldn't have been happier with the finished work declaring, "I didn't know my home could look this good!"

 

Landscape Design & Masonry

Hines & Zaffarese transformed this delapidated porch into a backyard oasis

Hines & Zaffarese had their work cut out for them with this backyard, which had a crumbling cement deck and mostly dead shrubbery. Mike Shevlin got to work designing an environment that would turn this dilapidated space into a location that this family would treasure for years to come.

Shevlin engineered small, individual "zones" that fit together to create an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility. Each zone is a work of art on its own, which allowed first time visitors to discover each element as the overall theme unfolded.

The homeowners were thrilled with the result. Their new backyard not only offers tranquility, but is quite functional for outdoor eating and other warm weather activities.
